Queen Symphony IX, was raised in the Gentilly neighborhood

of New Orleans and is a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy. Queen Lauren is a highly acclaimed, and

nationally recognized, family law trial attorney. Queen Lauren owns a law firm in Dallas, Texas,

where she tries high conflict and complex family law cases.

Queen Lauren is a proud alumna of Tuskegee University where she earned her bachelors of

Science and Texas Southern University where she earned her Juris Doctor. Queen Lauren

currently sits on the alumni board of her beloved law school.

In addition to being a force in the courtroom, Queen Lauren has captivated her audience on social

media, where she educates the public on the family court system. With over 1 million followers

across 2 social media platforms and 70 million views later, Queen Lauren is a highly regarded and

trusted member of the legal community.

Queen Lauren is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated where she is a

current member of the Omicron Mu Omega chapter.

Queen Lauren and her husband were college sweethearts and are both serial entrepreneurs. In

addition to owning her law firm, they both own a production company that produces their show on

YouTube. They own a praline company - Secretly Sweet, and a chicken and seafood fry batter

company - Southern Fry Kings.

Queen Lauren’s love for Mardi Gras runs deep. She grew up watching the parades in Gallier Hall

every night. In 2002 she was a princess in Young Men Illinois and with the Krewe of Pygmallion.

She marched in parades nightly with her dancing school and while in high school. Queen Lauren

has been riding with the Krewe of Zulu since the age of 12. Queen Lauren ascending into her reign

as Queen Symphony IX has been a natural and humbling experience. She graciously thanks the

Krewe of Symphony for this remarkable, surreal and grounding opportunity. It has truly been a

Symphony. The perfect harmonious blend of mystique, friendship and all things Mardi Gras.
